Landoro Contractor Agreement
This Contractor Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Landoro Ltd ("Landoro", "we", "us", or "our") and you ("the Contractor", "you", or "your") who will deliver property-related services through the Landoro platform.
This Agreement outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and conditions that apply to all contractors registered on our platform to ensure a consistent and high-quality service for homeowners.
1. Use of the Landoro Platform
1.1 Platform Scope and Restrictions
You are free to carry out work for clients outside of Landoro. However, any homeowner you are introduced to through Landoro must only be serviced via the platform, for both the initial job and any future works, unless express written permission is granted by Landoro. This ensures transparency, protects all parties, and enables us to maintain a secure and reliable ecosystem for contractors and homeowners alike.1.2 Services Offered
The services you are eligible to carry out on Landoro will depend on the skills, qualifications, and trade categories you select when setting up your contractor profile. Examples of services include (but are not limited to):- Plumbing
- Electrical works
- Inventories
- Cleaning
- Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
- General handyman services
- Locksmith services
- Painting & decorating
- Waste removal You must only accept bookings that fall within the services you are qualified and insured to deliver.
- Response speed to job invitations
- Past customer ratings and reviews
- Successful completion of prior services
- Geographic availability You are not guaranteed a fixed number of jobs but will be considered based on your availability and profile performance. Job details, deadlines, and scope of work will be clearly listed prior to acceptance.
- You upload valid proof of completion (e.g. certificates, clear before/after photos).
- The homeowner confirms that the job has been completed satisfactorily. A booking fee is charged to the homeowner and a small percentage of the total job cost is deducted from the contractor's fee as a service fee. You must not request or accept direct payments from homeowners outside of the Landoro platform.
- Consistently poor service or unresolved homeowner complaints
- Breach of safety standards or legal requirements
- Attempting to bypass Landoro by working directly with a homeowner introduced via the platform
- Failure to maintain insurance, ID, or relevant qualifications You may also request to terminate the agreement by providing written notice, subject to any ongoing obligations being fulfilled.
- Solicit, approach, or accept work from any homeowner you were introduced to through Landoro outside the platform. This protects the integrity of the marketplace and ensures fair access to work for all users.
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Proof of Public Liability Insurance
- Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g. Gas Safe, NICEIC), depending on the services you offer Note: For certain general services, qualifications may not be required but must still comply with safety regulations.
- You agree to cooperate fully with Landoro's internal dispute resolution process.
- Legal action should only be pursued after internal steps have been taken and a resolution cannot be reached.
- Your own tax and National Insurance contributions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant local regulations
- Maintaining appropriate insurance and certifications
